Ask him to encourage the use of effective herbal and synthetic replacements to bear bile to reduce the use of animal parts in Traditional Medicine. Send your letter to the care of IFAW, P.O. Box 193, Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts 02675-0193 USA. We will present it to Premier Rongji with the many other letters and cards we are receiving on this issue.

    Also, don't buy medicines, teas, tonics or any preparation containing bear bile. Traditional medicines containing herbs are cheaper, more readily available and just as effective.
